Later can import your Letterboxd watchlist, watched films, ratings, and reviews from Letterboxd’s official data export.

Later is not affiliated with Letterboxd.

How to import

1. On a computer or phone browser, go to letterboxd.com and sign in.
2. Open Settings → Import & Export (or go to the data export page).
3. Export your data and download the ZIP file. (Export may require Letterboxd Pro.)
4. On iPhone or iPad, open Later → Settings → Import.
5. Choose the Letterboxd ZIP (or the CSV files inside). Wait while Later matches titles via TMDB.

Notes

• Letterboxd doesn’t include TV shows — their export is film-only, so there’s nothing for Later to import there. You can still add TV in Later yourself.
• Unmatched titles are skipped if Later cannot find them on TMDB.
• Import merges with your existing Later library (it does not wipe it).
• Your library data stays on your device.
